Online Appointment Scheduling

Accepting New Clients

Everything You Need to Know Before You Book

What are your hours of operation?

Opening hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Monday through Friday for face-to-face and telehealth services. I also reserve a few evening and weekend slots for virtual sessions.

How do I make an appointments

The online appointment management system has an easy-to-use “Appointments” section that you (or I) can manage. It will give you full access to scheduling, making changes to you appointments and any required documentation. Once you’ve booked your first session, you will have full access to the client portal.

Are sessions face-to-face or online?

I offer both in-person or telehealth (virtual video or audio) sessions, depending on your preference and comfort level.

What is your cancellation policy?

I would appreciate at least 12-hours notice before you cancel or reschedule an appointment. This helps me to be able to manage scheduling and best serve my clients. You can contact me or use the online scheduling system to change or cancel your appointment. Failure to provide notice of cancellation will incur a no-show fee.

We welcome clients of all ages, cultures and backgrounds.

Are there forms to complete?

All consent and registration forms can be completed online, from any device. Once you book your first appointment, you will be walked through the process.

How does billing work?

Full payment for sessions must be received before your virtual session. For in-person sessions, you can opt to pay in advance or when you arrive for your appointment. Payment can be made by cash, online transfer, bank deposit or Paypal.

Sessions may be claimed through your insurance provider, if eligible. Contact your insurance company for details on your specific coverage.

How long are the sessions?

Both virtual and in-person sessions last 50 minutes long. Sessions for children range from 20-50 minutes depending on their age and developmental level.

What’s the difference between counselling and psychotherapy?

Counselling is typically short-term and addresses a specific goal or issue, whereas, psychotherapy can continue for several months or even years, to address patterns, past experiences and long-term issues.

Curious about therapy but unsure if you’re ready to begin?
